    • 1). Press the "Eject" key on your keyboard. The eject key is in the very top-right of the keyboard layout. It is a symbol with an upwards-facing triangle and a flat rectangle just below. Press it as the first method to try and eject your Windows XP disc from the disc drive.

    • 2). Double-click the "Finder" icon (far left on the Dock) to launch Finder. In the Finder window, locate your Windows XP disc in the "Devices" list in the left-panel. Click the eject button next to the Windows XP disc. The icon will become highlighted as your mouse lays over it.

    • 3). Click "Applications"-->"Utilities"-->"Disk Utility." Click the "Windows XP" disc from the list of connected drives, then click the "Eject" button.

    • 4). Restart your computer, and hold "Command"+"Option"+"O"+"F" simultaneously as your Macbook Pro starts up. When the Terminal prompt popups, type "eject cd" and press "Return" on your keyboard. Wait a few moments for your disc to eject, then type "mac-boot" and press "Return" on your keyboard, which will eject the disc.
