Branding? Build Your Own Brand Using E-Mail Marketing Effectively

103 6
Brand awareness is difficult to measure yet companies spend hundreds of thousands of dollars to do just that.
If you think that brand awareness is out of reach of the small business owner, think again.
You can develop your own brand awareness effectively using these e-mail marketing strategies.
Start by Sending E-Mail Messages Consistently: Send your messages on a regular basis.
Whether that's daily, weekly or whatever schedule you devise, stick to it.
Doing that with your e-mail messages will help 'train' your prospects.
They will learn to expect your messages.
If you build enough anticipation, they will expect them.
Always Use the Same 'From' in your E-Mail: Typically, the auto responder services will let you create a unique 'From' for your e-mail messages.
Understand that in order to comply with the CAN SPAM Act, your e-mail messages must come from a legitimate e-mail address, but they don't have to be displayed that way.
(like yourname at your domain) You can make your 'From' name anything that is easily recognized.
Be sure to use it every time you send a message.
Establish your unique 'From' name and don't change it.
Always Use Your Tag Line: One of the first things good marketing coaches are going to advise you on is to start building your brand with a good elevator speech and a 'tag line'.
That tag line is just a short, informative and descriptive saying or sentence about what you really do.
Use that tag line in every e-mail message that you send to your list.
It will help reinforce your message and build your brand.
Your brand is unique.
But understand it's powerful too.
Consider other 'brand' examples like everyday products you and I both use.
Is there a huge difference between all the brands? Technically, if you took an up close look at a lot of those brands, I would guess that there isn't a huge difference.
But then ask somebody to 'change' their brand.
It's not an easy task.
For those reasons, it's important that you start building your brand.
There is no easier, more cost effective method of going that then using e-mail marketing.
Building your brand should be important to you even if you argue that 'your brand' isn't a lot different then your competitors.
Get your customers 'hooked' on your brand and see how hard it is for your competitor to change that! Good luck! Live, Love and Profit from your Passion; Otherwise it's just another job!
