How to Early Vote in Missouri
- 1). Log online. Visit the official courthouse website for your Missouri County. Type in "absentee voting" into the search box at the top of the home page. Click the "Search" tab.
- 2). Click on the "Absentee Voting" link. Scroll to the right side of the page and click on the "Absentee Application" tab to download and print the form.
- 3). Complete the form in its entirety. Identify yourself as either being out of town on Election Day, physically unable to go to the polls, confined by religious practices from going to the polls or work for the election commission as a reason for needing to vote via absentee ballot.
- 4). Include a request letter with your application. Identify your mailing address, contact information, party affiliation, the date on which the election is set to commence and the reason you require an absentee ballot.
- 5). Send the completed ballot in the provided notarized envelope to the Board of Elections of your county no earlier than 42 days prior to Election Day.
