How to Cut Limes for a Gin & Tonic

    • 1). Wash the outer skin of the lime under cool running water. Slice the fruit in half with a paring knife, starting with the stem and continuing to the base.

    • 2). Lay the lime on the cutting board with the cut side facing down. Slice each half of the lime in half lengthwise, producing quarters.

    • 3). Slice each quarter in half lengthwise. Arrange all eight lime wedges on a cutting board. Cut a small horizontal slice approximately halfway down the inside of each wedge for attaching onto the rim of your drinks.
