How Can I Track Someone's Cell Phone?
- 1). Choose a GPS software to install on the phone you wish to track. Several free ones are available, including BuddyWay, Instamapper and Google Maps for Mobile. Any of these programs will turn your phone into a GPS tracker that you can find by logging into any web-enabled cell phone, PDA or computer.
- 2). Go to the site that you've chosen to use and enter your personal details, create a user name and password and put in your phone number and mobile network along with a valid email address. You will immediately get a text message with download instructions sent to your cell phone.
- 3). Open up the text message and follow the link in your phone's web browser to download the software. Follow the instructions in the text message to install the application to your phone.
- 4). Track the phone by logging into the website where you registered. Once there, you will see a blinking dot, which is the cell phone. Next to it will be the user name. Track the cell phone by following it on the map. You can get a 30-day history of movement by clicking on the "History" tab at the top of the screen. Zoom in and out by using the + and -- buttons and pan around the screen by using the arrows.
