How Do I Display My Blogroll for WordPress 2.9?
- 1). Open your Internet browser and type "http://myblog.com/wp-admin/link-manager.php" in the address bar. Substitute your WordPress blog URL for "myblog.com." Hit "Enter" on your keyboard.
- 2). Enter your WordPress blog user name and password in the provided spaces and click "Log In" if you are prompted to log in. Wait for the WordPress Links Manager page to load.
- 3). Hover over any of the default links to show the "Delete" option. Click "Delete" on each link you don't want in your blogroll. Click "OK" in the pop-up window to confirm that you want to delete each of these links.
- 4). Click "Add New" beside the section title links to begin adding your custom links to the blogroll.
- 5). Enter the name of the link you want displayed in your blogroll in the first text entry box. In the second text entry box, enter the Web address of the site or blog you want to link to. Include the "http://" section of the Web address. In the third text box, add a description of the link, which will be displayed when someone hovers over the link.
- 6). Select "Blogroll" for the category of the link. Select the target frame for the link. Optionally, if the link is for a person, select the link relationship. Also optional, add an image address for the site, rss address, notes and a rating in the "Advanced" section.
- 7). Click the "Add Link" button at the top right of the page.
- 8). Add as many links as you want to appear in your blogroll.
- 9). Mouse over the "Appearance" tab in the left sidebar containing the WordPress admin options. Click on the down arrow that appears to expand the tab, and click on "Widgets."

Drag the "Links" widget bar from the "Available Widgets" section over to the section on the right where you would like to display the blogroll. - 11
In the "Links" widget settings, select "Blogroll" as the category of links to display. Select whether to show the link's image, name, description or rating. Click "Save" to have it display on your site.
