How to Easily Make a Schedule
- 1). Write your recurring obligations at their scheduled times in the planner. Include events like school, work, club meetings, chores and pickups.
- 2). Write in your one-time and temporary obligations at their scheduled times. Include events like jury duty, weddings, funerals, art performances and meetings.
- 3). Write in your travel time from one event to the next. For example, it may take you 15 minutes to drive from home to your children's school to pick them up at 2:30 p.m. In that case you would schedule "Drive to school" at 2:15 p.m.
- 4). Write in events you would like to attend at their scheduled times. Include vacations, art performances, parties and sales. Write in such events only where nothing else is already scheduled, since your obligations are most important.
