How to Make a Child's Donkey Costume
- 1). Draw two donkey ears about 8 inches long on to the gray felt. Cut them out. Draw two slightly smaller ears onto the pink felt. Cut them out.
- 2). Glue the pink ears to the center of the gray ears. Bend them slightly down the center long-wise with the pink side in the bend. Let dry. Sew to top of the hood pointing downward.
- 3). Cut a egg shape from the white felt big enough for cover most of the front of the hoodie. Sew to front of hoodie.
- 4). Cut black felt into a 6 by 6 inch square. Glue black felt to the end of the long piece of gray felt. Roll into a tube and glue down the top edge. Sew to back of the sweatpants.
- 5). Paint white circles around the eyes and mouth, use the photo of the donkey for reference.
- 6). Wear with black mittens, shoes and buck teeth.
