How to Remove Favorite Links From Windows Explorer in Vista

    • 1). Launch Windows Explorer.

    • 2). Click the "Organize" button, located in the upper-left corner. A drop-down menu will display.

    • 3). Mouse-over the "Layout" option and deselect the "Navigation Pane" option. The Favorite Links will be removed. This change will also collapse the "Folders" view on the left pane.

    • 4). Click the "Folders" bar and drag it up to the desire length, then release the button. This displays the "Folders" view.
