How to Save and Copy a Movie to an iPod
- 1). Download the HandBrake software (see Resources).
- 2). Open HandBrake on your desktop computer.
- 3). Open your CD/DVD drive, and insert the movie.
- 4). Select "File" from HandBrake's menu.
- 5). Click on "Open Source" to choose your movie from the source list.
- 6). Choose "Presets" from the list.
- 7). Select "Update Presets."
- 8). Click on the "Toggle Presets" button in the top-right corner of the window.
- 9). Click on "iPod" to select your iPod device from the list.

Select "Show Queue." - 12
Click on the arrow next to the movie copy title you would like on your iPod. - 13
Choose the location you would like HandBrake to save the MP4 file it creates from the CD/DVD movie you want to copy. - 14
Wait for HandBrake to create and save your MP4 file. - 15
Launch iTunes on your computer. - 16
Click on "File" from the menu bar. - 17
Select "Import." - 18
Choose the file that HandBrake created for you in the location you chose. The file you must choose will end with an .MP4 file extension. - 19
Connect your iPod to your desktop computer with your USB cord. - 20
Click on the tab that reads "Video" in iTunes. - 21
Select "Sync" to sync your iPod to add the newly created movie.
