No Win No Fee Claims

Over two million people suffer from injuries received whilst at work.
More likely than not, these injuries are caused by negligence on the employer's behalf, or a lack of safety training and accident protocol.
But of those injured, less than half filed for compensation, for fear that their personal injury claim would be unsuccessful, time consuming, and expensive.
What they may not have realised, is that the no win no fee claims offered by most Scottish solicitors are real - no tricks or hidden costs.
What it means is that regardless of the success or failure of your personal injury claim, you don't pay the solicitors anything.
It sounds like a trick, but it works because the solicitors make their fees through insurers and third parties.
If they win a personal injury claim on your behalf, the insurance (normally of the third party, be it your employers, hospital, council etc) pays for their costs and you still receive all of your compensation money.
If they lose the claim, the no win no fee system means you still don't pay; because they make enough money from the winning suits to cover lost cases.
In reality, no win no fee solicitors are unlikely to take on a case they don't think they can win - it's against their interests.
This means there are strict criteria that you have to qualify before they will look at your claim; including medical reports documenting the extent of your injury, and a psychological report detailing the effect on your mental health.
Whilst this may seem cold hearted, it does mean that if you have a personal injury claim and they take it on, you are likely to win.
And it's not just accidents at work that you can claim for.
Personal injury claims can be made for clinical negligence, injuries from defunct commercial goods, road traffic accidents, slips and fall in public places.
But don't forget; for a no win no fee claim to be successful, you have to be able to prove beyond doubt that you could not have done anything to prevent the accident.
