    • 1). Go to "My Computer" and locate your hard drive. Right-click on the Ubuntu partition and select "Delete Partition." This will delete Ubuntu from your system.

    • 2). Insert the Vista install disc and restart your computer. Your system should automatically boot into the Vista disc. If it does not, restart again and press the appropriate key to enter system BIOS. Choose "Boot Order" and select "CD-ROM" as primary. Restart the computer again. It will now boot into the Vista install disc.

    • 3). Select a time, language and keyboard input when prompted. Click "Repair Computer" from the menu and select Vista as the operating system. Click on the "Command Prompt" in "System Recovery Options." In the command prompt, type "Bootrec.exe /FixMbr" and press "Enter."
