Whether you've broken up already or you feel that your relationship is coming to an end, there are ways you can save your relationship. Broken up or close to the end, you are essentially in the same predicament and so we'll discuss it in the same context. So let's start the guide on "how to save my relationship".

Relationship problems usually occur because of the lack of understanding of both person involved and the fault does not sit on just one person. Just because you are the one trying to find ways to save your relationship, it does not mean that the problem lies on you.

It's important to re-examine your relationship and the best way of doing that is by putting yourself in your partner's shoes. You don't need to feel as if you are subjugating to your partner, because all you are trying to do is to understand. It's a simple concept of solving a problem. You have to identify the problem in order to fix the problem.

When you've finished identifying some of the problems or if you've known all alone what the problem was, now it's time to decide what to do with them. I believe your relationship is worth saving because you are going the extra mile to make it work, but in rare cases your partner might not deserve you.

If your relationship is at the current state because of say, your partner's infidelity, you have to ask yourself if it's worth saving it. Some people never break out of the habit of cheating, but for some of course it can be a once in a lifetime mistake. You see, I know that you are aware of your partner's intention. The real question is, will you make the decision based on the truth or will you try to save the relationship even though you know that he or she will cheat on you again in the future.

The decision is yours and ultimately you will need to make a leap of faith to some degree. Understanding your partner's point of view can change much of what you thought of your relationship. This is a good thing, the solution to the problem has to come from someone and you can start the chain reaction by putting your partner's feelings above yours.

I'm a firm believer that most people are decent. If you compromise, sacrifice, and fill in the blanks for your partner, he or she will soon follow suit and your bond can become much stronger than it ever was. Become the solution to the problems and don't try to fix or correct what you don't like about your partner. You will get your chance to voice your opinion once you rebuild a strong foundation for your relationship. Need more help? Click here for it.
