•    In order to prevent any kind of eye movement during the projection of laser on cornea, hindering the process, these eye-lids are held apart by a device named, speculum.

•    During this procedure the microscope will make constant clicking sound. This whole process is smoothly executed.

After this task is accomplished, patient is directed to another room for rest. This operated eye for the time being demands care. And special care is to be taken of this operated eye so that it may not be stressed by being too focused on forming of images. For example tasks like reading, writing, watching television or a computer screen should be avoided. Patient will have a foggy vision soon after operation.

The corneal flap that is created in this process of Lasik eye correction needs to be in place. As your eye is a very delicate organ it needs to hold on to the flap so sportive activity needs to be curtailed at least for some after the operation.
