However, the good content must be original content as well.

Let's face it, your readers are reading your blog because they like to be current.
Posting about current events in the market will give your readers just another insight into that market.
Keep in mind though that the more current the news, the better - no one wants to read old news.

Make them fun, so people will keep coming back.
People love to win things and by making the prize relevant to your market, you will ensure that your readers are those that you are targeting.
