How to Fix Scratches on PVC Trim
- 1). Wipe the PVC trim with a clean shop towel or rag. Wear gloves to protect your hands.
- 2). Place a scraper on one end of the scratch.
- 3). Press down hard and pull the scraper over the scratch.
- 4). Pull the scraper back over the scratch and return to the position where you started.
- 5). Repeat Steps 2 and 3 until the scratch has been removed.
- 6). Sand the area where the scratch was with a piece of 200-grit sandpaper to even out the surface to a smooth finish.
- 7). Wipe the PVC trim with a clean rag to remove any residue.
