I went through 7 hours of sitting on the airplane, and I came off calmer than I went on.
This wasn't the only trip I took in the past year.

You too can overcome the fear of flying! It IS possible! Here is a secret technique I learned to dramatically decrease the anxiety I experienced before and during any flight.
The secret is simply this: Abdominal Breathing.
You see, when we begin to feel anxiety, our body's response changes our breathing to shallow, chest level breathing.
This is not only a symptom, but also an aggravating factor.
This is what causes you to feel the sensation of being trapped, which in turn increases your anxiety, and make you want to run from the situation.
Abdominal breathing helps your body develop a sense of calmness.
It actually activates your parasympathetic nervous system, which will send an 'all is well' message to the rest of your body.
Next time you begin to feel the tension rise, focus on taking deep, long breaths down into your abdomen.
