How to Finish a Knifty Knitters Project
- 1). When the last row of knitting on your project is complete, ensure that there is only one loop left on each Knifty Knitter peg.
- 2). Cut the yarn that you have been using to wrap the pegs, leaving about three inches.
- 3). Beginning on the side of your project without the cut end of your wrapping yarn, remove the loop from the first peg using the crochet hook. The Knifty Knitter instruction manual recommends a size G or H hook.
- 4). With the loop from the first peg still on your crochet hook, pull the loop from the next peg onto the hook.
- 5). Pull the loop from the second peg through the first, then remove the loop from the next peg. Pull that loop through the loop from the second peg.
- 6). Continue the process until you reach the final loop, then pull the end of the yarn through that last loop. Your project should now be fully removed from the loom, with a finished edge running along the top.
- 7). With the crochet hook, weave the loose end of the yarn into your knitting to give you project its final finishing touch.
