How to Make a Custom Embossed Monogram
- 1). Press the stamp into the embossing ink, coating all areas of the stamp design.
- 2). Press the inked stamp down evenly onto the card stock paper. Smooth the stamp to make sure all areas of the design are inking the paper. Remove the stamp.
- 3). Pour embossing powder over the entire inked image. Dump the embossing powder onto an extra card stock paper. Tap the stamped page to remove any excess powder, catching the excess on the extra card stock paper.
- 4). Meet the edges of the extra card stock paper to funnel the excess embossing powder back into the powder jar. Remove the jar from the heating area.
- 5). Turn the embossing gun on and hold the gun a few inches above the inked and powdered project. Move the gun in a circular motion around the image to heat all areas of the design. When the stamped image becomes glossy, the embossing has set and the gun can be turned off.
