Safety Features

• The 2008 Chevy Impala LS comes with a number of standard safety features. For example, the car is equipped with driver front airbags with multi-stage deployment, passenger front airbags equipped with sensor and multistage deployment and front and rear side curtain airbags. In addition to the airbags, the car's other standard safety features include an immobilizer designed to make stealing your car extremely difficult, four disc brakes, including two ventilated discs, and a low tire pressure indicator alerting you to tire issues. • The car is stocked with remote power locks with speed sensing, a service interval indicator alerting you when your car requires service, a voice activating system and front seat cup holders. In addition, the seat belts in the front driver and passenger sides, as well as in the back seat, are height-adjustable, thus promoting driver and passenger comfort. The windows in the front and back of the car are all powered, and the trunk also comes with a remote release. • The engine is comprised of a 3.5-liter V6 front engine with 211 horse power. It is a multipoint fuel system. The engine components allow for a fuel economy of approximately 29 miles per gallon on the highway, and 18 to 22 miles per gallon in the city. Inside the Impala LS you will find a competent stereo system made up of an RDS audio system with a satellite radio, and a CD player capable of reading MP3s. Within the car are six premium speakers.
