When Vampires Attack
It tells the story of Alex, who we find out, is a hybrid of a vampire and human.
He remains unaware of his true lineage until he graduates from college and his uncle John tells him the truth, that he is the Falsifer and that he is the only person that can defeat the evil Anaxagoras, who is also happens to be his grandfather.
This book flows very well and once you start you are unable to put it down.
The author did a fantastic job at giving the reader just enough of back story for the characters so that the reader understands what they are facing after the last Great War, where John and The Rebels fought against the vampires.
The rebels, who are also vampires but have joined forces with the humans are very interesting characters, that provide Alex with his family history on his father's side, and also protect him and teach him everything that he is capable of.
I think anyone who is a sci-fi fan or loves vampires will find this book very interesting.
The author does a great job in creating characters that the reader can relate to and feel for them.
Overall, I think this is a great introduction to characters and can't wait to read more of their adventures in upcoming books.
This is definitely a series that anyone from a young adult to a mature adult will find to be a fantastic read.
