    • 1). Open the "Start" menu. Select "Control Panel" from the menu.

    • 2). Click the link for "Programs."

    • 3). Click "Programs & Features."

    • 4). Select "View Installed Updates" in the left navigation pane.

    • 5). Type "Search" into the search box in the top right corner. The results show your Windows Search version.
