    • 1). Update your Blackberry Curve 8330's service books if you have trouble accessing your data capabilities, such as the Internet and your email. Click on the "Options" button on the phone's main menu. Scroll down and select the "Advanced Options" tab. Click on "Host Routing Table" and select any one of the various sets of numerical data and press "Enter." Your data functionality should now be restored.

    • 2). Perform a soft reset on your Blackberry Curve 8330 if the device locks up and will not respond to your commands. Hold down on the "ALT," "SHIFT" and "DELETE" keys simultaneously for five seconds. This will force your device to reboot and it should now function properly.

    • 3). Place the Blackberry under good lighting conditions when trying to take photos to prevent them from being blurred. Hold the phone steady when taking a photo and do not move until the picture is displayed on the Blackberry's screen.
