How to Buy Videos for an MP3 Player
- 1
Obtain the latest copy of iTunes. The iTunes store features most newly released movies as well as TV shows that can be put directly on your iPod. Install the program and browse away. With iTunes, you can either use a credit card or prepurchased value cards. - 2
If you own a video-capable iPod, simply sync it to your computer and move the files over. When the sync is complete, your movies should be available to play on your iPod. - 3). If you have a non-iPod video-capable MP3 player, try and sync it to iTunes. While it does not support every MP3 player, some will sync easily. If your MP3 player does not sync to iTunes, try the iTunes Agent program (see Resources below). This program allows most files downloaded from iTunes to be placed on any MP3 player.

Look for DVDs that are marketed with a free digital copy. Purchase one of these and you will get a normal DVD or Blu-Ray to be played in your home player as well as an additional disc which you can use to transfer the movie to your computer. - 2
Install the digital copy onto your computer following the included directions. This is usually as simple as inserting it into the CD/DVD drive of the computer and waiting for it to auto-play. Make sure you look at which disc you use. Use the extra disc provided and not the original DVD, as it cannot be transferred to your MP3 player. - 3). Wait for the movie to be installed, then sync your MP3 player to your computer and move the digital copy file to your MP3 player.
