    • 1). Open your desired PowerPoint presentation and click the first slide to select it.

    • 2). Set the slides to automatically advance by clicking "Slide Show," "Transition" in the top menu bar.

    • 3). Click a desired transition, such as Wipe Right. Select the "Automatically After" option and type the number of seconds that you want the current slide to display on the screen before advancing (such as "5" for five seconds).

Alternatively, click the next slide and repeat steps 2 and 3 to manually set the timing for advancing each slide. Repeat until timing for each slide is set.

    • 5). Select the "Set Up Show" option under "Slide Show" in the top menu bar.

    • 6). Indicate how the presentation will be shown by clicking "Presented by a Speaker (Full Screen)" or "Presented at a Kiosk (Full Screen)" in the Show Type section.

Select "Using Timings, if Present" in the Advance Slides section.

If desired, check the "Loop Continuously Until 'Esc'" option in the Show Options section to have the presentation restart after the last slide.

Click the "OK" button to save the show settings.

    • 7). Click "File," "Save As" and choose "PowerPoint Show (*.pps)." Type a new filename if desired and then click the "Save" button.
