    • 1). Use scissors to cut out three 6-inch-tall hearts from a piece of black construction paper. Cut out two 1.5-inch-tall hearts from a piece of black construction paper. Cut out two 1-inch-tall hearts from a piece of pink construction paper. Cut out one half-inch-tall heart from a piece of pink construction paper.

    • 2). Draw a wavy line on a piece of black construction paper about 5 inches long. Make a small curve at the top and repeat the pattern going down and parallel to the prior line to create your cat's tail. Cut out the tail.

    • 3). Cut out two circles that are 1 inch in diameter from a piece of white construction paper. Cut out a small crescent shape from the bottom of each circle. Where the cut is will become the bottom part of the cat's eyes.

    • 4). Turn all three of the 6-inch hearts upside down, so that the humps of the hearts are pointing down and the point of the hearts is pointing up. Use glue to adhere one of the hearts on top of a second. The top heart should adhere so that it is centered on the bottom heart and covering the bottom heart's point.

    • 5). Glue the third heart behind the bottom heart. It should be off center by about an inch so all that you see of the back heart is part of one of its humps. This will be the cat's back leg.

    • 6). Glue the tail to the back side of the third heart, just about four inches up the back leg.

    • 7). Glue the two 1-inch pink hearts into the center of each of the 1.5-inch-tall black hearts. They should be centered on one another and will be the cat's ears.

    • 8). Glue the ears on to the cat's head. This is done by turning the ears so the humps of the hearts are down and the points of the hearts are up. Glue them to the top of the 6-inch head heart where the cat's ears should be.

    • 9). Glue the two white circles onto the face. They should be centered on the cat's head with the cutout section pointing down.

Cut three white pipe cleaners in half so that you have six pieces. Glue the pipe cleaners to the cat's head. The ends should be centered just below the cat's eyes, about where the nose should be. You should have three pointing out to each side of the cat's head. Glue the half inch pink heart centered below the cat's eyes, on top of the pipe cleaners. It should be right side up. This is the cat's nose.

Allow all the glue to dry.

Use a black marker to make two black circles inside of the white circles. These are the cat's pupils. They should be about a third of an inch in diameter.
