    • 1). Determine how many points you have made available to students on the test. For example, assume you create a test worth 75 points.

    • 2). Add together the total number of points the student earned. In the example, assume a student received 70 points on the test.

    • 3). Divide the number of points your student received by the total points you made the test worth. In the example, 70 divided by 75 equals a grading percentage of 0.933.

    • 4). Multiply the decimal from the previous step by 100 to find the percentage in decimal form. In the example 0.933 equals 93.3%.
