How to Make Leather Bracelets With Sliding Knots
- 1). Wrap a small-diameter leather strip around your wrist. Hold the point where the leather overlaps itself.
- 2). Lay the leather strip on a flat work surface. Add an extra 6 inches to the measured length. Cut the leather with a pair of scissors.
- 3). Slide beads of your choice onto the leather at this point. Almost any beads will work -- plastic, metal, stone, glass -- based on personal preference and overall theme.
- 4). Form a circle on the work surface with the leather. Overlap the ends by 3 inches.
- 5). Tie a simple overhand knot in one end of the leather strip. Form the knot so it passes around the main leather loop.
- 6). Tie an overhand knot in the other end of the leather strip. Once again, form the knot so it passes around the main leather loop
