How to Make a Multi-Strand Spiral Beaded Necklace
- 1). Cut two pieces of thread that are 36 inches in length and fold them in half. You can make the thread longer or shorter depending on how long you want your necklace to be.
- 2). Weave the threads through the jewelry clasp, making sure the threads are centered. Tie the threads to the clasp.
- 3). Weave the loose ends of the threads through the beading needles. Separate one thread from the others and begin the beading process.
- 4). Use your seed beads to begin the beading process. You may use multi-colored beads on each thread or singular colors. Place all of the beads you want on the first strand, depending on how long you want the necklace to be. Once the first strand is complete, stick the needle in a pin cushion and move on to the next strand.
- 5). Repeat Step 4 with all the remaining threads. Add beads to each thread until you've reached the necklace's desired length.
- 6). Hold the loose ends of the bead strands and begin twisting them together. You can do this by taking one strand and wrapping it around all of the other strands and alternating between all of the other strands. The end result should be a a tightly wound spiral necklace.
- 7). Tie all of the loose strands to the other end of the jewelry clasp. Daub some glue to the ends of the knots to secure them. Cut off any excess thread.
