God, Why Isn"t It Raining?
I am at a crossroads with my business..
..
I have been in the business for the better part of 10 years...
While I have had dry spots in the past, they have lasted for a season...
ie a slow summer...
or a slow fall..
..
But I am on the tail end of a full year of pure drought..
..
He humbled you, causing you to hunger and then feeding you with manna, which neither you nor your fathers had known, to teach you that man does not live on bread alone but on every word that comes from the mouth of the LORD.
Deuteronomy 8:3 Everything I do in this business ends up in delays..
..
Delay in getting paid...
then when I get paid...
delays on the client side..
..
The business is getting harder to run..
..
what took a day or so 10 years ago now takes weeks or even months..
For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end Though it linger, wait for it;and will not prove false.
it will certainly come and will not delay.
Habakkuk 2:3 I have prayed for the business flow to resume...
I have stood in authority and proclaimed it..
..
I have tithed on ever cent I have made this year..
..
and yet I am still facing delays after delays...
and dead ends after dead ends..
..
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Proverbs 3:5-6 I stick with this business...
because when it works even a little it is very lucrative...
But I honestly dont know what God wants me to do..
..
Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.
Proverbs 19:21 So I asked a couple of Siblings in Christ..
..
To if they could you take this to God's Throne room to see if He gives them a word or two for me?..
..
For whatever reason, I was not hearing the answer from him..
..
Here is the answer that I got back..

Seasons come and seasons go but I will remain forever.
So you think that you have been in a drought? You have, says the Lord.
But it has not been without My allowing it to be.
Go back my child, go back.
Where were you a year ago with your walk with me? Where are you now? Are you really in a drought ~ or just the appearance of one? Eyes have not seen and ears have not heard..
..
but I have seen and heard ALL! You have been on a spiritual journey with Me.
I care about your heart more than your finances...
yet I care about the blessings as well.
In this year have you not drawn closer to me? Iron sharpens iron, a refiners fire burns off the drudge.
It purifies.
You have been in the fire ~ I'm burning off the impurities.
Don't be dismayed by the lack of monetary things.
I have not forgotten you nor forsaken you, but rather I have been closer to you this last year than in the ten years put together.
You have opened your heart to Me...
therefore My heart has been turned towards you.
Had your business been prospering so during this last year, would you really have had time for Me? Would you have sought My face so diligently? So earnestly? Would you have been so hungry? Faith - live by faith, in ALL areas.
I am here, I am working.
You have planted the seeds, you will see the harvest.
Did I not show you that with the blessing of your car? Be not dismayed for I am with you says the Lord, I am with you...
After receiving the above..

I went to daily mass..

The readings that day were out of the gospel of John...
where Jesus states he is the Bread of Life...
During the Homily, the Priest compared how God provided for the daily needs of the Israelites in the desert through the bread of heaven, manna...
to how much more the Bread of Life, Jesus, provides to us...
This is the bread that came down from heaven.
Your forefathers ate manna and died, but he who feeds on this bread will live forever.
" John 6:58 Taking the words I heard at church and the words that I received from my Siblings in Christ..
..
God is using our own "desert" experience or personal droughts to bring us closer to Him...
But He is still providing for our everyday needs...
and as long as we, even in our drought, are planting seeds...
We will see our HARVEST..
..
Then he said to his disciples, "The harvest is plentiful but the workers are few.
" Matthew 9:37 So, if you are also going through the desert...
if you are experiencing a drought...
Sow your seed...
and trust that God's purposes are being met...
Trust that God sees all and that your HARVEST is indeed coming...
and it is BOUNTIFUL.
