Sustaining Gratitude on the Way to Financial Freedom
I am grateful for all those who have provided validation and confirmation along my path.
If you are going to use your inner guidance system to direct the course of your life and design the lifestyle of your dreams learning to developing this level of awareness is critical to your success.
First there was Robert Allen with his multiple streams of income; thank God! I thought I was just scattered in my thinking.
Then when I worried that my ideas were just too grand to be realistic along came Mark Victor Hansen and his idea to always think mega! When some of those mega ideas felt overwhelming, Ali Brown showed me how it can be fun and easy to be successful.
Years later as I questioned my ability to ever be super successful at my creative pace, Marc Allen came around and taught me that you don't have to be a Type A personality to own your own company, be a millionaire or afford a life style that suits your natural pace.
If you're a creative, right brained thinker,The Type Z Guide to Success is all the confirmation you need to know you're on your way! For 7 years I'd embraced Eckhart Tolles' The Power of Now and chose my day to day activities by what I felt guided to do.
Then as resources were running really low I began "kicking" myself for not having a better plan of action to sustain me.
That very month Oprah's What I Know for Sure featured the idea that using your own GPS to guide you was how she went about it in the beginning.
No marketing plan.
No team of experts.
The power of no plan! or at least a very flexible one.
Since it's easy for that little doubting voice to object, "you're not Oprah", I also re-discovered some financial resources and recognized that I had set myself up for this phase of my life long ago.
Thank you me! All of these are examples of confirmation.
They're the guidepost you have to look out for as you blaze new trails.
Noticing confirmation and validation in the face of doubt will give you the courage to keep moving forward.
It's one of the primary ways I've managed to cultivate faith and trust.
