How to Import an MP4 to an iPod Touch
- 1). Download the latest version of iTunes onto your computer, and follow the installation instructions detailed on the Apple website. Once installation is complete, launch iTunes by clicking its icon on the desktop.
- 2). Drag and drop your MP4 video files into the "Library" section at the top of the iTunes left-hand column.
- 3). Connect the iPod touch to the computer using its USB cable. ITunes will automatically detect the iPod touch and add it to the "Devices" list in the left-hand column.
- 4). Select the iPod touch from the "Devices" list and open the "Films" tab in the main iTunes window. A list of MP4 video files currently in the iTunes library will be displayed.
- 5). Check the "Sync Films" box, and then click the "Sync" button in the lower-right corner of the iTunes window. Any MP4 video files dropped into the iTunes library will be imported into the iPod touch during the synchronization process.
