Microsoft kicked off E3 2012 with a lot of games, a little bit of video app stuff, and zero awkward Kinect stage demos. We have everything right here.

Halo 4 - Show starts with Halo 4 trailer + gameplay. Looks incredibly good and showcases new Forerunner enemies. Cortana goes crazy. November 6th 2012 release date.

Splinter Cell: Blacklist - Similar "mark and execute" gameplay to SC: Conviction. Demo features level in bright daylight in Middle East.


Can use Kinect voice controls to call to guards or call in airstrike via radio. Night vision goggles return. Co-op and Spies vs. Mercs return. Coming early 2013.

Madden 13 and FIFA 13 both "Better With Kinect" - Can sub and change formations in FIFA with voice commands. Referees will react if you audibly disagree with their calls (they can hear you curse ...). Joe Montana on stage to show off Madden with Kinect. Can flip plays, call audibles, hurry-up offense, call plays for specific players.

Fable: The Journey - Still not clear how it actually plays. Maybe not on rails ...

Gears of War: Judgment - Developed by People can Fly (Bulletstorm). 2013 release.

Forza Horizon - Open world. On / offroad racing. Day / night cycle. October 23rd, 2012 release.

Nike+ Kinect Training - Fitness game. Personalized training, instant feedback, can nag you via phone when you need to work out. Holiday 2012.

Xbox SmartGlass - App that makes Windows Phones, iPad, iPhone, Android devices work together with your Xbox 360 and TV. Can start movie on phone, then instantly transfer it to watch on your Xbox 360. While you watch something on Xbox 360, your tablet or other device will provide other info related to what you are watching.

Xbox SmartGlass will also have gaming applications. Use it to select plays in Madden on your tablet. Use Halo Waypoint on tablet while you play Halo 4 - accept friend invites, etc. Fall 2012.

Xbox SmartGlass works with any phone or tablet - no need to buy a new device.

Internet Explorer Coming to Xbox 360 - The rumors were true. Will use Kinect voice as well as SmartGlass. Browser seems very fast. Fall 2012.

Tomb Raider demo - Looks fantastic. Great physics. Awesome lighting. Essentially Uncharted with a chick gameplay-wise. Not as nice graphically, though. We've come full circle. First DLC pack will be 360 exclusive. Release 2013.

LocoCycle from Twisted Pixel (The Gunstringer)- X360 exclusive. Racing game? Action game? Dunno. Coming 2013.

Resident Evil 6 - DLC first on Xbox 360. Gameplay kinda looks clunky.

Wreckateer - XBLA - Kinda like a 3D Angry Birds with Kinect where you fire catapult shots at castles. Different balls have different abilities that you control with Kinect. Summer launch.

South Park: The Stick of Truth - RPG starring your custom character. Gameplay graphics look just like the show.

Dance Central 3 - Completely expected. Not shocking whatsoever. Sequel to best dance games on Kinect. Usher performs onstage = bathroom break time.

CoD: Black Ops II - Yep, its Call of Duty. Looks like branching mission objectives. Neat near future weaponry.
