EverQuest 2: Alternative free-to-play version announced
The list of free-to-play MMOs is getting longer and longer: not only The Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons & Dragons Online will soon go the way of free game play with optional item shops, but also Ever Quest 2.
Sony Online Entertainment announced now Everquest 2: Extended to a free-to-play version of Everquest 2 Platinum, which is run separately in addition to the normal subscription version of the game.
