7 Ways Leaders Improve RESULTS

103 10
The overwhelming mindset of nearly every great leader is to strive to achieve to the best of his abilities, and in the best interests of his organization and its stakeholders.
In order to succeed, there is a need to go way beyond the tendency to merely complain, blame, and use empty rhetoric and platitudes, but rather focus on doing what's necessary and taking timely action to do the best that he can.
The compelling focus must invariably be to concentrate not merely on suggesting some plan, but moving ahead proactively to end up with the best possible RESULTS.
This may be best understood when we use a mnemonic approach and consider seven rather surefire techniques that will implement the ideas and programs that move the organization to the next level.
1.
The process begins when a leader realizes the essential and most compelling needs and priorities of constituents.
Only when leaders assure that their organization is continuously relevant can anyone truly relate to constituents, potential members, and other stakeholders.
2.
Quality leadership must not be about what the leader wants, but rather must be based on empathy and fulfilling needs and priorities.
There must be an avoidance of the easy tendency to merely go through the motions, but rather must be done with a consistent energy that others feel (and hopefully are motivated by).
When done sincerely and consistently, the end result is often gaining support by earning the respect of those served.
3.
True leaders never settle for less than their best efforts, but rather continuously strive to do more and better.
They focus on creating and implementing the finest, sustainable system that will leave his organization in far better shape than when he assumed his position.
4.
Over - reliance on empty rhetoric never serves the best interest of the group, and a true leader focuses and prioritizes useful and useable concepts and ideas, and motivates constituents to recognize that these approaches are urgent for the well - being of the organization.
It is, therefore, incumbent upon quality leaders to urge, unify and unite the various factions of stakeholders, and focus on how together they can do things for the common good.
5.
There is no such thing as a born leader, so one should only assume the position if he realizes that he does not know it all, and needs to learn the ropes.
Getting others to pay attention is enhanced when one leads by example.
6.
No one can lead unless he gets others to listen and follow! Therefore, a leader must teach and train potential future leaders (as well as getting others to care more and remain involved).
The theme must be one of together leadership! 7.
You only have a decent chance of getting the most desirable RESULTS when you have both inner and external strength.
Avoid empty platitudes, and transparently say what you mean, and why! Real leaders under - promise and over - deliver! Do what you promise and make a true and significant difference.
