• 1). Click "Start" and type "System Configuration" into the "Search programs and Files" box and press "Enter." The System Configuration window opens.
  
  
• 2). Click "Yes" if asked whether you would like to allow the System Configuration to make changes on your computer.

• 1). Click "Start" and then "Run."
  
  
• 2). Type "MSCONFIG" into the "Open" box and click "OK." The System Configuration Utility opens.
