How to Repair a Windows Keyboard Driver
- 1). Unplug the keyboard from your computer. If your keyboard is powered by an outside source, unplug that as well.
- 2). Click the "Start Menu" button and navigate to the "Control Panel" icon. Click on the "Control Panel" icon.
- 3). Double-click the "Device Manager" icon in the "Control Panel" window. Press "Continue" to proceed to the Device Manager.
- 4). Expand the "Keyboard" menu item by clicking on the small "Plus" (+) sign. Right-click on the keyboard that you use for your computer, and select "Uninstall".
- 5). Close all open windows and restart your computer.
- 6). Plug in your keyboard once your computer is fully rebooted. Select "Yes" to install the correct drivers for your keyboard.
