How to Replace the Batteries of a Korg Tuner
- 1). Turn the GA-40 around and locate the battery cover. This is a separate panel on the back of the unit, and has a small patch of ridges on it to enable you to remove it.
- 2). Slide the cover outward to remove it. Take out any remaining old batteries and dispose of them.
- 3). Insert your new batteries into the spaces, ensuring that they are placed in the correct polarity. The image on the tuner will show you which way around to turn them. The "+" side of a battery has a bump.
- 4). Replace the cover when you have inserted the new batteries.
- 1). Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of the Pitchblack tuner. This is a small rectangular panel on the bottom side of the tuner.
- 2). Open the battery compartment up and remove the old battery. Either remember which way it was placed or refer to the picture inside. The original battery that comes with the Korg Pitchblack doesn't have great life, and is only put in the tuner to verify that it is working correctly.
- 3). Insert your new battery into the tuner, orientated in the correct direction, and replace the battery compartment cover.
- 1). Ensure the AW-2 is switched off and turn it around. The battery cover is located on the back of the tuner, and is circular in shape. The "Power" button is also located on the back of the tuner, in the top left hand corner.
- 2). Press gently on the battery cover with your thumb. Turn your thumb counter clockwise to release the battery's cover.
- 3). Remove the old battery and dispose of it. Insert your new battery in the correct way, so that the "+" end of the battery is visible.
- 4). Place the cover back over the battery compartment and push it into place with your thumb. To close it fully, turn your thumb clockwise until the cover clicks back into position. The AW-2 is now ready to use again. When you're battery is running out, the "Tuner On/Off" indicator will blink.
