Dollhouse Paper Punch Flower Instructions
- 1). Punch a circle of petunia-colored paper. Red, pink and white are good colors. Each circle makes one petunia flower.
- 2). Draw eight lines across the flower with a white gel pen dividing the flower into eight petals. Put a dot of yellow paint in the center where the lines cross. Allow the paint to dry completely for an hour.
- 3). Using tweezers, dip the petunia in water and shake or wipe off any excess. Place the flower on a piece of craft foam and press the center of the flower down with the embossing tool, pressing it down into the foam. An embossing tool has a ball point which allows you to shape paper without puncturing it. Allow the flower to dry completely for several hours, until it holds its shape.
- 4). Cut out a leaf or two from green paper with a heart-shaped cutter and shape it in the same way, pressing along the center of line of the heart.
- 5). Attach the flower to a 1.5 inch piece of wire stem with a dot of white glue and a toothpick. Add a leaf or two to the stem, below the flower.
- 6). To make a potted plant, glue flowers and leaves along several loops of green wire. Space the flowers close together with just enough space between them to glue in some leaves. Arrange these loops of wire and a few single blossoms in a miniature pot to make a potted petunia.
