How to Do a Topsy Tail Without Having to Buy The Tool
- 1). Gather desired hair into a pony tail securing it with a hair tie. Make sure the hair tie is secure but somewhat loose. Then pull the hair tie down a little, not undoing the pony tail just giving you some slack at the top.
- 2). In one hand hold the pony tail. With the other hand use your index finger and thumb. Slide them up the underside of your hair (the loose part right above the hair tie and pony tail) this should make an opening.
- 3). While still in your hair, bring your pony tail up to your index finger and thumb. With your index finger and thumb grab the pony tail, pull it and your fingers straight down (back through the opening). Make sure you pull the pony tail completely through.
- 4). You can then retighten the pony tail to secure your topsy tail.
