How to Wash Light Blue Colors
- 1). Read the care label on your clothing for any special washing instructions. Some delicate fabrics should not be placed in the wash and should only be dry cleaned.
- 2). Separate the light-blue-colored fabrics. Towels should be washed on their own to avoid lint transfer. Create a separate pile for light-blue cottons, light-blue towels and light-blue delicates.
- 3). Place the items in the washing machine and add laundry detergent. Light-blue colors can be mixed with light yellows, grays and whites as long as the colors don't bleed. Choose cold water and a delicate cycle setting for synthetic fabrics. Choose warm water and a normal cycle setting for cottons. Wash towels in warm water on a normal cycle.
- 4). Remove the light-blue-colored items from the washing machine.
- 5). Place the items in the dryer. Dry synthetic items on medium and cottons and towels on high. Dry towels separately to prevent lint from transferring to clothing.
