Everyone always wonders what they can do to build muscle fast.
They think if they workout for a week straight they should have muscles like an professional athlete.
The thing is that to get a nice build and have the "glamor muscles" it takes a lot of dedication, commitment, good eating, and way longer than a week.

So many people fall so easily into muscle building supplements because they want to rely on the supplements to build the muscle for them.
And because they rely so much on the them they workout a little bit, do not change their diet that much, and they do not get the attitude and the mindset they need to accomplish their goals.
Instead they spend hundreds of dollars on pills, or powder, or bars that say they will be all that is needed to become ripped and be in the best shape of your life.
Now don't get me wrong when you do start working out whey protein and other recovery drinks and bars help out a lot! So first of all do not have it in your head that you can build a bunch of muscle over night or even in a week or two.
It is a gradual process and if you think you just have to do a few crunches or pull-ups to have that body you dream of you are setting yourself up for a big let down.
What you want to do is find a workout that works for you.
Make a schedule that works with your lifestyle, whether you are a full-time student or if you have a full-time job or you are a stay at home mom/dad.
And keep in mind that if you have a very tiring job and you come home every day exhausted you might not want to have a busy workout schedule.
It might take longer to get to your maximum results but believe me it will be worth it.
Building muscle is not a short-term thing so you have to find a schedule that is comfortable for YOU, not what the next guy is doing.
The most important thing to do with working out to get the quickest results is to have a diet that is geared towards your muscle building lifestyle.
There are so many nutrients your body needs to support your muscle growth and to keep your energy levels high.
Lets face it you will not want to workout if you feel sluggish and your body feels drained because of the previous workout or the hard day at work.
You need to get enough proteins, carbohydrates, fiber, etc.
So you can push through that workout and give it all you got.
So along with having a good workout schedule that works for you, you need a meal plan.
Not just a menu that has a serving of vegetables, some meat, and a couple glasses of milk.
You need a well thought out meal plan that has all of the nutrients you need for your muscles to feed off of and to give your body that extra push.
