How to Convert Cassette Tapes & LPs to Compact Discs
- 1). Plug the RCA component cables (red and white) into the "Output" or "Line Out" of your cassette deck.
- 2). Plug the other end of that same RCA cable into the "Line In" or "Input" on your CD-R recorder.
- 3). Open your tape deck and insert the cassette tape that you want to want to record. Close the tape deck.
- 4). Turn on your CD-R recorder and press the "Open" button on the front of the unit. Wait for the CD-R recorder to open and then place a blank CD-R into the tray.
- 5). Close the CD-R recorder drive and press the "Record" button on the front of the recorder.
- 6). Press the "Play" button on the cassette deck and wait for your song to record over to the CD-R.
- 7). Press the "Stop" button the CD-R recorder when the song has finished to separate the track for the next song. Press the "Stop" button on your cassette deck.
- 8). Re-press the "Record" button on the CD-R recorder to start a new track on the CD-R.
- 9). Press the "Play" button on your cassette deck to start the process again.

- 2). Turn on your CD-R recorder and press the "Open" button on the front of the unit. Wait for the CD-R recorder to open and then place a blank CD-R into the tray. Place the LP that you want to want to record on the turntable.
- 3). Close the CD-R recorder drive and press the "Record" button on the front of the recorder. Put the needle to the song that you want to record and wait for your song to record over to the CD-R.
- 4). Press the "Stop" button the CD-R recorder when the song has finished to separate the track for the next song. Take the needle off of the record. Re-press the "Record" button on the CD-R recorder to start a new track on the CD-R.
- 5). Put the needle to the next song you want to record to start the process over again.
