How to Add Slow Motion to WMP
- 1). Open Windows Media Player from your Start menu's "All Programs" folder.
- 2). Click "File," then click "Open" to display the "Open..." dialog. Select a video or audio file from your hard drive, then double-click it to open it in Windows Media Player.
- 3). Right-click an area of empty space between the button controls at the bottom of the Windows Media Player window. Click "View," then "Enhancements," then click "Play speed settings."
- 4). Adjust the "Play Speed Settings" slider that appears on your screen. Adjust the slider by dragging it to the left to slow down play speed, or click the "Slow" preset link on the top-left of the "Play Speed Settings" screen.
- 5). Click the right-facing triangle button in Windows Media Player to play your file. Your media will begin playing at the specified speed. You can continually adjust the speed during playback until the desired level of slowdown is reached.
