How to Copy Western Fashion
- 1). Pick a pair of bottoms to create your Western fashion. A cowgirl or cowboy can't go wrong with a pair of blue jeans. Avoid bell bottoms, though, and instead opt for a boot-cut pair. Wrangler, Levi's, Circle T and Lawman are all favorite brands for Western wear. Western women can also don long prairie skirts. Just make sure it's short enough to still show off your boots.
- 2). Find a Western shirt for your outfit. Look for a long-sleeve button-up shirt in bright or pastel plaid. If you're planning to don your Western wear during a night on the town, opt for a rhinestone shirt. These formal tees come in bright colors, complete with glitzy studs all over.
- 3). Put on a pair of leather boots. These should sit about halfway up your calf, although they're typically worn under the jeans. For some added drama to your Western fashion, attach a pair of spurs to the back of the boots.
- 4). Wear a cowboy hat to complete your Western fashion. Find one with a high crown and wide brim. Straw cowboy hats are acceptable, although felt hats are best associated with the Western image.
- 5). Accessorize your Western outfit by adorning your jeans with a large rodeo belt buckle. If you're aiming for a working cowboy look, wear a pair of leather chaps, too.
