How to Bake Bread in a Roaster Oven
- 1). Consult your roaster oven user's manual for baking tips. If the manual is unavailable, follow the bread recipe and set the oven temperature on your roaster oven accordingly. Allow the roaster oven to preheat with the lid on for 10 to 15 minutes before placing bread inside.
- 2). Insert the metal roasting rack that came with the roaster oven inside the roaster pan. Make sure the handles are in the upright position for easy lifting later.
- 3). Prepare your bread according to the recipe. Place loaves into metal loaf pans.
- 4). Place the metal loaf pans into the roaster oven and close the lid.
- 5). When bread is finished, remove the lid and, using potholders, lift the roasting rack by the handles. Set the roasting rack on a countertop and allow the bread to cool completely.
