Are you wondering how to resolve marital problems, even after separation? Even if your problems are severe, there is no reason that the two of you can't get back together.
How long have you been separated? I could be wrong, but I think it's been a little while, at least.
If so, then you've both had time to cool off.
Some time to think about what happened in your marriage, and some time to heal from the bitterness between you.
It's time now to talk to each other.
Give her a call, and ask her if she'd like to talk.
If she's not ready yet, that's OK - she will be soon.
When she's ready, she'll let you know.
When you do talk, do your very best to keep your emotions from getting out of control.
When you stay calm, she will, too.
Getting angry right now won't help anything.
If you do find that the conversation is getting heated, then it's time to cut the conversation short and try again another day.
It's a good idea to keep the time spent with each other short right now.
As you talk more, you'll see that you can spend more time with each other, without any anger between you.
When that happens, the two of you can camly talk about your marital problems.
Find a way to 'meet in the middle', if you will.
Talk about what both of you think would work to fix the problem, and put it into action.
It's one thing to talk about it, but it's another thing to actually do it.
When you want to resolve your problems after separation, show your spouse that you really want to make your marriage work.
You know there are problems, but you know that you can overcome them - together.
Tell your spouse how you really feel about them - don't hide your emotions.
It is very important to be able to show your spouse your true feelings.
If you're a man, it won't mean you're weak.
If you're a woman, don't think your spouse doesn't want to hear it.
They not only want to hear it, they need to hear it.
Separation is NOT divorce.
It is NOT final.
Divorce isn't even final - divorced couples get back together.
Think of separation as a break from each other.
Everyone needs a break from each other once in a while.
That's one reason for 'girl's night' and 'guy's night'.
A little break gives you time to de-stress, and be able to think about things clearly.
Become friends with each other again.
Rebuild the bond between the two of you.
That bond will become stronger, because you have been through this.
You both will realize that you do need each other, and you will be able to resolve marital problems, even after separation.
