This may be even more harmful as you take in unfiltered smoke whereas the smoker supposedly has a filter to weed out the nicotine.
You also smell bad and sooner or later, you may be persuaded to join the crowd.
Since quitting cold turkey is rarely a successful method, there are numerous options in the market to quit smoking in a progressive and well-administered manner with a higher rate of success.
Chantix, the trade name for Varenicline, is a prescription medication to treat smoking addiction with the objective of smoking cessation.
It works on a different approach by blocking nicotine from stimulating the nervous system.
As such, it reduces one's cravings for nicotine and pleasure derived from nicotine products.
Hence if the nicotine fixes no longer works, there's no reason to continue smoking.
Chantix is not recommended for smoker groups under 18 years of age, pregnant and breastfeeding mothers until further testing is done and necessary approval obtained from the relevant drug authorities.
Before starting use, consult your doctor.
It may be detrimental to take Chantix if you have kidney problems, a history of mental illness or are taking medications for other health conditions.
Use as it is prescribed for you.
In case of possible side effects when taking this product, inform those close to you to be alert to any behavioral changes.
