    • 1). Iron your piece of fabric. Lay the fabric horizontally in front of you with the printed side face down. Fold the fabric in half and iron the crease that you make firmly. Unfold the fabric.

    • 2). Attach a piece of iron-on adhesive along the top horizontal edge and along the bottom horizontal edge. Iron each piece into place and allow them to cool. Peel off the protective backing from each. Fold the top edge down to the center crease. Fold the bottom edge up to the center crease. Press them both firmly in place.

    • 3). Trim the right and left edges of your fabric with pinking shears so that it measures 46 inches across.

    • 4). Make a light chalk mark on the side of the wall where you plan on hanging the brackets for the holder. The brackets should be 47 1/2 inches apart.

    • 5). Screw in the brackets with a handheld drill. Push the dowels into the pocket on the top and bottom of your piece of fabric. Fold up your piece of fabric and push each dowel into the proper place on each bracket.
