    • 1). Draw the basic shapes. Draw a circle for the head. Draw a vertical line down the middle of the circle; this will be the midpoint of the face. Draw a horizontal line across the circle, about 3/4 of the way up. This line represents where the eyes will sit. Draw another circle or oval for the body. Draw two stretched out ovals for the ears. Draw a circle near the bottom of the body for each back leg. Draw two lines to represent where each front leg will be. Draw a circle at the bottom of the body for the tail.

    • 2). Draw the face. Draw two large ovals on the horizontal line for the eyes. Draw pupils, with large reflections inside them, inside the eyes. Draw two upward curved lines for the eyebrows. Draw an upside down triangle for the nose. Draw two curved lines coming down and out from the nose for the mouth. Draw two large front teeth between the two curved lines. Draw whiskers coming out from on top of the two curved lines. Erase the vertical and horizontal lines that were drawn into the head circle.

    • 3). Draw the body. Draw the contours of the body over the simple shapes. Draw the feet onto the bottom of the back legs. Connect the lines for the front legs, and draw feet at the bottom of them. Draw smaller ovals inside the ears to show the inner ear. Erase the simple shapes that you drew over.

    • 4). Draw the detail. Draw bits of fur on the cheeks, at the ends of the ears and on top of the head. Draw fluff around the tail. Draw two lines on each foot to separate the toes.
